Key Worker

We want to ensure and help your child to settle quickly into nursery. To achieve this your child will be allocated a keyworker, a special person who will care, support and ensure your child is happy and secure whilst at nursery.

Your keyworker will also always be available for you to talk to and you will always have someone whom you can share information about your child to.

The keyworker will take responsibility to ensure your child's needs are met and that their development is progressing.

Settling in trials

When you have booked your place at Bridge End you will be offered short, personalised trial sessions prior to your child starting nursery. This is a great time meet all the staff, especially your key worker and for your child to meet the other children in their room.

You are more than welcome to stay with your child on the first trial session whilst they familiarise themselves with the environment and until they feel more confident to be left.
